Project Description: Hyperion innovative PVA fibers was applied in the The UHPC hollow green wall of X-House project. It covers a total exterior area of around 115 square meters, exhibited at the Solar Decathlon in Dubai. Designed based on traditional Middle Eastern dwellings, the project adopts prefabricated hollow UHPC panels to form an integrated green enclosure wall, whose hollow cavities are available for green plants planting and embedded photovoltaic components, integrating facade greening, power generation and natural ventilation. Featuring light weight, high strength and strong resistance to high temperature and sandstorm in Middle East, UHPC hollow panels balance ventilation heat dissipation and structural stability, and the whole building is constructed via prefabricated modular assembly. Winning the Energy Efficiency Championship of the competition, this project proves the comprehensive advantages of UHPC for ecological green walls and provides a referable practical model for UHPC eco facades of zero-energy buildings in hot and arid regions.
