Hyperion ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers(UHMWPE fibers) is a high-performance synthetic fiber material for engineered cementitious composites(ECC concrete). It has excellent adhesion and pull-out resistance in concrete becuase of chemical surface treatment of fiber. It has high tensile strength, ultra-high elastic modulus and alkali corrosion resistance, which significantly improves the tensile properties, crack resistance and durability of ECC concrete. It is widely used in structure seismic, strengthening and repairing of existing structures because of the high flexibility and bending (flexural) strength.
